Indie rock is a music genre that originated in the United States and United Kingdom during the 1980s. This music genre is very diverse because it has several sub genres. Some of its sub genres are the following: Math rock, lo-fi, dream pop, space rock, post rock, indie pop, emo, sadcore, etc.
